Two Palestinian students from Gaza and the occupied territories died as a result of suffocation in their residence in Turkey.
According to Arab 48 website, Yusuf Za'abi (22 years old) from the town of Nein, originally from Sulam in the Marj Ibn Amer area, and Samir Shahwan from the Gaza Strip, both died due to suffocation in their residence in Turkey.
It was reported that the two young men went to Turkey to continue their studies and died in their apartment in the city of Sakarya.
In detail, the students were found unconscious inside a home in a residential area in the city of Sapanca in Sakarya province.
It is known that two friends of the young men were on the lower floor of the same house, and they were the ones who informed the Turkish ambulance teams after finding them unconscious upon waking up in the early morning hours.
The two students were taken to a hospital where their deaths were pronounced, while the medical sources have not determined the cause of death, and the bodies were transferred to the forensic medicine center to determine the causes of death.
A number of family members of the deceased Za'abi went to Turkey to work opposite the authorities there to bring the body back to the country.
