Khaberni - The United States accused Iran on Friday of planning to assassinate the Israeli ambassador in Mexico, in what might be Tehran's latest attempt to target Israeli interests abroad.
An American official who requested anonymity said: "The plot has been thwarted, and no longer poses a threat," without providing detailed evidence or explaining how the supposed plot was foiled.
