Khaberni - The draft law of the public budget for the fiscal year 2026 reveals a decrease in the primary deficit for 2026 to 4.6% of the Gross Domestic Product.
According to the draft law, the deficit in next year's budget is 2,125,225,000 dinars, compared to 2,278,081,000 in this year's budget.
The budget draft estimates public revenues at about (10,930,900,000) dinars, including (10,196,000,000) dinars from local revenues and (734,900,000) dinars from foreign grants.
The draft law of the public budget for the fiscal year 2026 also reveals an increase in capital expenditures to 1.6 billion dinars, compared with the revised estimate of 1.3 billion dinars, to cover the financing of developmental projects of national importance, including; (economic modernization vision projects valued at 396 million dinars, the national water carrier project valued at 60 million dinars, exploration of Al-Risha gas valued at 35 million dinars, raising the support for the development and improvement of municipalities to 210 million dinars instead of 180 million).
