Jordanian Alzheimers Aid Association and the White Family Association Sign Agreement to Strengthen Senior Programs

Khaberni - The Jordanian Alzheimer's Aid Association signed a cooperation agreement with the White Family Association – Guest House for the Elderly / Senior Pioneers Forum, today, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, aiming to enhance joint programs to serve the elderly and Alzheimer's patients in Jordan.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Susan Al-Majali, a member of the administrative body and the designated signatory for the Jordanian Alzheimer's Aid Association, and by retired Major General Abdullah Hasanat, Vice President of the temporary administrative body for the White Family Association.

The Jordanian Alzheimer's Aid Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease and dementia, operating under the honorary presidency of Her Highness Princess Mona Al-Hussein, supporting patients and their families through specialized educational and community programs.

The White Family Association, founded in 1971, encompasses the White Family Home for the Elderly and the Senior Pioneers Forum under its umbrella. The forum serves as a cultural and social club that aims to empower the elderly intellectually and socially through various cultural and recreational activities, while the White Family Home provides round-the-clock comprehensive elderly care services.

The signing of the agreement acknowledges the expertise and competence of the White Family Association in organizing intellectual, social, and cultural events aimed at the elderly, and enhances the integration between the two associations in serving this segment.

On this occasion, Dr. Susan Al-Majali said:

“The Jordanian Alzheimer's Aid Association was looking for a senior-friendly place, a club that welcomes them, meets their needs, and entertains them. Through this agreement with the White Family Association, we hope to give this place its due and together provide a supportive environment that preserves the dignity of our elders and values their contributions.”

On his part, retired Major General Abdullah Hasanat, Vice President of the provisional administrative body of the White Family Association, said:

“I emphasized the importance of caring for the elderly, especially those who suffer from severe illnesses, and the necessity of providing care at all levels, whether in public, private, or civil society institutions. This agreement between the two associations forms a structured framework for cooperation in serving this dear segment, ensuring a dignified life and comprehensive care for them.”
