Khaberni - The interim administrative committee at Al-Hussein Sports Club has decided to withdraw the women's football team from the Jordanian League and Jordan Cup for Professionals for the current season, as part of a comprehensive plan to restructure the women's sector within the club, and to build a system capable of competing and sustaining over the coming years.
This decision came after a meticulous study of the challenges that faced the formation of the team since the start of the season, which included a limited number of options available for contracting players capable of competing at the local level, due to most distinguished players being bound by existing contracts with capital clubs, alongside player commitments in Irbid province with other clubs within professional championships, in addition to technical and administrative obstacles that prevented completing the team in a manner befitting the club's name and ambitions.
Al-Hussein Sports Club confirms that the restructuring is based on a clear vision that focuses on developing the women's age groups and gradual building towards forming a first team that can achieve consistent results and compete for titles, reflecting the club's stature and Irbid province's presence in women's football.
The club appreciates all the efforts made during the past period by staff, players, and administrators, and confirms its ongoing commitment to supporting women's football and providing a suitable environment for its growth and development, serving Jordanian sports and solidifying the club's presence in all competitions.
