Jordan Enabling Parents to Access Ajyal Platform within Two Weeks

Khaberni - The director of the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Center for Educational Technology and Information Management, Munib Tasman, stated on Thursday that the unified national platform for managing educational information and e-learning, "Ajyal" platform, is composed of three phases, with the first phase launched this year.

Tasman added in statements to "Al Mamlaka" channel that the purpose of this platform is to enable students, teachers, and parents to access digital curricula and electronic content at any time, noting that access to the platform is also available through the "Sanad" application.

He mentioned that the platform contributes to managing the educational process entirely, and makes it easier for teachers through electronic content, in addition to managing the educational relationships between teachers and students, and monitoring all students, their grades, and evaluations through the learning outcomes that appear to the students.

Tasman clarified that all teachers in the public and private sectors have been fully trained on the "Ajyal" platform using the TOT method, where trainers train the teachers down to all levels.

He pointed to the existence of a special electronic platform for training teachers, through which the training material is available, and the teacher can access it anytime he chooses.

He explained that within the next two weeks, usernames will be available for parents to access the platform and view everything related to their children students.

According to Tasman, there are 4,100 computer labs in the kingdom's schools, and 2,000 schools are connected to the fiber optic network.

Tasman revealed that there is a plan to provide at least one computer lab in primary schools that end with the sixth grade, confirming at the same time that teachers can access the platform through any available means of communication.

He added that there are 80,000 computer devices distributed across schools in the kingdom, and all devices and networks are monitored through cybersecurity.
