Khaberni - The Department of General Statistics issued its first monthly report of the season to monitor the production of olive oil in the kingdom's mills. This is part of the annual survey of olive oil mills for the year 2025.

The data shows that the amount of oil produced by November 1, 2025, reached 1,419 tons. According to historical data, the general production average over the years (2025–2012) was about 2,542 tons in the same period of the season, which means that the production in October 2025 only constituted 55.8% of the general seasonal average, indicating a weak performance compared to previous seasons.

The results indicate that this year’s olive oil production season will witness a significant decrease in oil production, reflecting a slowdown in production pace compared to previous seasons. Previous reports indicate that the annual production rate for olive oil is about 25,000 tons, with the production quantity last season (2024) reaching its historical peak at 35,828 tons.

The Department of General Statistics highlighted its continued monitoring of the oil quantities produced in olive mills until the end of the pressing season, through an annual field survey conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, with the aim of providing accurate and comprehensive data to support agricultural policy and decision-making.
