Middle East University students engage with former Constitutional Court member on the Jordanian Constitution

Khaberni - Middle East University organized a seminar titled "The 1952 Constitution... The Path and Compass of the State," hosting former constitutional court member Dr. Mohammad Al-Ghazo, with the presence of the university's vice president Dr. Ahmad Al-Lawzi, several deans, faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

The seminar was opened by the Dean of the Law Faculty Dr. Ayman Al-Rafou, who stated that the 1952 Constitution formed the foundation on which the modern Jordanian state was built, describing it as a document of national consensus that established the principles of constitutional governance and the rule of law.

In his turn, Dr. Mohammad Al-Ghazo explained that the constitution reflects the popular will, which grants legitimacy to the authorities and ensures a balance among them.

The seminar concluded with an open dialogue between Dr. Al-Ghazo and the students, where they discussed contemporary constitutional issues and the major challenges facing the practical implementation of the constitution.
