Khaberni - The Highway Patrols Administration affiliated with the General Security Directorate reported that movement on external roads is witnessing "active movement," and announced dealing with two major traffic accidents in the past 24 hours, the most notable being a "truck" overturning on the development passage leading to a complete closure towards Zarqa with 3 injuries, one of which was critical.

The Patrols confirmed that "all external roads are passable."
The "Highway Patrols" noted that they have not dealt with any traffic accidents since early morning. This field follow-up coincides with the ongoing "Safe Winter Campaign" aimed at preparing vehicles for the winter season.
In a related context, the Traffic Administration reported that this morning they dealt with vehicle breakdowns, the first in the Al-Mahatta area in Amman (from the direction of Zarqa), and a "tow truck" towards the Medical City, where they managed the resulting traffic impact.
The "Highway Patrols" clarified the details of the accidents over the past 24 hours, which reflect the importance of adhering to traffic rules:
Mafraq Accident:
The first accident occurred due to a collision between two vehicles under the Al-Miyah Bridge towards Mafraq, resulting in a moderate injury. The administration confirmed that the cause of the accident was "close following" and not leaving a sufficient safety distance.
Development Passage Accident:
The second accident occurred in the middle of the development passage road towards Zarqa, where the overturning of a "trailer" led it to collide with two trucks and a shared transport bus parked on the right of the road. The accident caused a complete closure of traffic towards Zarqa, resulting in two moderate injuries and one critical injury.
The Public Security personnel opened the road and restored traffic flow.
Severe Speeding Violation:
In terms of violations, a very high speed was recorded on the Azraq road at 174 km/h, although the set speed limit is only 90 km/h.
In connection with the general traffic flow, and expecting "increased traffic density" due to the weekend holiday, the General Security Directorate renewed its call for citizens to take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
The Patrols emphasized the necessity of adhering to correct traffic instructions, and most importantly:
Strict adherence to the set speeds on the roads, and avoiding high speeds that cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Leaving a sufficient safety distance between vehicles to avoid collision accidents due to "close following".
Exercise maximum caution and vigilance while driving.
Ensure technical readiness and periodic maintenance of the vehicle, responding to the "Safe Winter" campaign and avoiding sudden breakdowns that may obstruct traffic flow.
