Khaberni - Housing Bank volunteers within the "Imkan Al-Iskan" team participated in a crop-picking event of one of the agricultural projects implemented by the Arab Association in Al-Shuna Al-Shamaliya within the context of the bank's ongoing support for the Green Caravan program implemented by the association.
This participation extends the bank's ongoing support for the program, as part of the strategic partnership between the two parties to increase the green area in the kingdom and support small farmers by providing an additional source of income for them, through the umbrella of "Imkan Al-Iskan" for social responsibility, in line with its goals aimed at supporting civil society organizations and initiatives that encourage volunteer work, and stimulate environmental growth and social and economic empowerment, thereby creating a sustainable positive impact.
This support, which helped secure the trees and improve the quality of the crops, ensures continuity through economic returns, which allows for the investment of profits into expanding agricultural activities and supporting next production cycles, reflecting the sustainability concepts that the bank is keen to practically expand in its community activities.
Housing Bank continues its support for the Green Caravan program by including its platinum sponsorship for the fifth consecutive year, which was announced earlier in the year.
It is noted that the Green Caravan program, launched by the association in 2003, represents a comprehensive developmental vision aimed at enhancing awareness of the importance of planting fruit trees as a cultural pillar, and to support less fortunate communities by providing additional income, reducing poverty and unemployment, ensuring resource sustainability for future generations, and contributing to enhancing awareness of the importance of planting fruit trees.
