Khaberni - The Jordanian field hospital crews reached South Gaza/8 on Wednesday to carry out their humanitarian duty in providing healthcare and relief, and alleviating human suffering in the sector, continuing the humanitarian and medical efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to support the resilience of the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
Upon arrival, the medical and administrative teams immediately took the necessary actions, prepared the clinics and medical facilities, and activated the work plans to receive patients in the coming days, ensuring the provision of medical services with high efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism, according to the highest standards of humanitarian and relief work.
The medical and administrative staff of the hospital includes various medical, nursing, and technical specialties such as general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, general medicine, anesthesia and intensive care, dermatology, vascular surgery, pediatric and newborn surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, emergency care, maxillofacial surgery, and neurosurgery, along with a mobile unit for prosthetic limb support, enhancing its ability to handle various medical emergencies and advanced cases.
During its operation period, the Jordanian field hospital in South Gaza/7 dealt with 61,763 patients, conducted 2,994 major and minor surgical operations, and helped in fitting 105 upper and lower prosthetic limbs, bringing the total number of prostheses installed as part of the “Restoring Hope” initiative to 637 prosthetic limbs.
It is noted that the crews of the Jordanian field hospitals in the north and south of the sector returned home on Wednesday evening after successfully completing their medical and humanitarian missions, and they were received by the commander of the Field Air Defense Brigade/3 and the commander of the Royal Armored School.
