An Uncommon Incident Denies a Club from Wearing All Its Jerseys

Khaberni - The Spanish club Sporting Gijón faced an unprecedented situation before its upcoming match in the Spanish second division.

The Touchline account on X mentioned that the Spanish club was forced to quickly find a solution to an issue related to the team's official kit. The club will not be able to wear either the first or the second official jersey due to color conflicts with the Mirandés team, and the third kit is not officially registered due to an issue with the club badge on the kit.

It was explained: "With limited time, the administration of Sporting Gijón is working on registering the badge officially, but the process will not be completed before the date of the match, prompting the team to make an exceptional decision to play in the green training jersey."

It continued: "About eighty pieces of this training jersey have been prepared, equipped with the club's official logo and the players' names and numbers, to be specially ready for this match only."

It added: "It has been confirmed that this jersey will not be offered for sale to the public, but its use will be limited only to the Mirandés clash, to avoid any organizational or legal issues related to the official sports kit regulations in the Spanish league."

It went on: "This unusual situation reflects the challenges that clubs sometimes face in dealing with the regulations and procedures of tournaments, placing the team in an extraordinary experience before the start of the match."
