Hakimis injury saddens the Moroccan sports community How long will he be absent

Khaberni - Ashraf Hakimi's injury, the player for Paris Saint-Germain and the "Atlas Lions" team, has cast a shadow over the Moroccan sports community amid growing concerns about his absence from the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

The French newspaper L'Equipe stated that Hakimi will miss 7 matches with Paris Saint-Germain across all competitions, but more importantly, it confirmed that he will be away from Morocco’s group stage matches in the Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, the Parisian club stated in a statement via "X": "Ashraf Hakimi has suffered a severe ankle sprain that will keep him off the field for several weeks."

The 27-year-old player will miss the Moroccan team's camp in November (current November).

Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan team, hopes that Hakimi will recover quickly to join the beginning of the team's journey in the knockout stage of the Cup of Nations, which begins on January 3 (January).

On this occasion, the media personal Mohamed Haji said on his Facebook account: "What happened to Ashraf Hakimi yesterday is very unfortunate, and the whole world talked about his injury as he is one of the stars who currently bring all this joy and attraction to world football... but our sadness as Moroccans is threefold as we count on his value and weight to carry the national team on his shoulders towards the podium in the upcoming CAN."

He continued: "This is how football is, a sport that stores a high rate of injury risks, given the speed of its games and the frequent collisions in it, also the pace of training and the physical effort exerted throughout the week.. therefore, the deprivation of a club or national team from one of their best players due to injury, at a time when they are most needed, has become a normal and familiar matter that must be quickly accepted and move on to think about suitable alternatives for the absentees."

In his turn, the media personal Anas Izem wrote: "Ashraf Hakimi will be absent from the fields for at least a month as previously mentioned, the ligament injury, thank God will not undergo surgery and will be present in the second round or the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations."

The Moroccan former international sports analyst Yousef Chippo said: "I am very sad for my countryman Ashraf Hakimi who was subjected to a serious injury after a strong intervention by Luis Diaz frankly this player deserves a suspension for more than one match, how is it possible that such rough and beastly intervention happens, this is football not street wrestling, yes he deserves more than a dismissal.. referees must protect the players.. I hope for a quick recovery for my brother and friend Ashraf Hakimi."
