Jordan Rise in Local Revenues in the 2026 Budget Project

Khaberni - The 2026 budget project indicators showed an increase in local revenues to 10,196 million dinars, as a result of increased economic growth, noting that the revenues for the year 2025 were re-estimated to decrease by 200 million dinars due to regional developments and the Iranian-Israeli war.

Current expenditures also rose to 11,456 million dinars, to cover the growth in operational expenses, salaries, wages, and costs of new vacancies in the formation system of ministries and government departments, alongside continuing to provide necessary allocations to support our armed forces and security apparatus.

The Cabinet, in its session held on Wednesday chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, decided to approve the draft law for the fiscal year 2026 general budget, as a precursor to proceeding with its constitutional procedures and sending it to the National Assembly.
