Khaberni - The UN World Food Programme called on Wednesday for the opening of all crossings leading to the Gaza Strip to expand the scope of humanitarian aid, indicating that about one million people in the sector have received food assistance since the ceasefire took effect.
According to "Euronews", the program's spokesperson, Abeer Atieh, said, "Three and a half weeks after the ceasefire in Gaza, we distributed food parcels to about one million people in various areas of the sector," stressing the importance of opening more crossings and facilitating humanitarian access to ensure the wider distribution of aid within the sector.
