Khaberni - Entrepreneur Alaa Thalji Al-Saudi, a graduate of the Hashemite University from the Prince Hassan Bin Talal College of Natural Resources and Environment, participated in the "One Young World" summit held in Munich, Germany, gathering over five thousand young men and women from 190 countries worldwide.
Al-Saudi represented Jordan as the founder and CEO of "Limonene," a startup specializing in water treatment and the sustainable reuse of resources, focusing on presenting innovative environmental solutions in water and waste management and promoting the concept of the circular economy.
Al-Saudi's participation was part of the Enterprising Futures scholarship provided by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dutch Enterprise Agency (RVO), to support young entrepreneurs in the Middle East and Africa. She was chosen to speak in a session about the circular economy, showcasing her company as a leading Jordanian model in innovation and sustainability.
Al-Saudi praised the university's role in supporting her career since her student days, stating, "The supportive academic environment for research and innovation was a fundamental motivator for developing my idea and transforming it into a successful entrepreneurial project."
The One Young World summit is the largest global gathering of young leaders from various sectors and is held in a different city each year. This year, it took place in Munich over four days.
