Jordan enhances its tourism presence through participation in the World Travel Market 2025

Khaberni - The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Tourism Promotion Authority, participates in the World Travel Market 2025 (WTM London 2025), which takes place in the British capital London from November 4 to 6, along with representatives from the public and private sectors, and 17 tourist offices and 3 Jordanian hotels.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Yazan Al-Khudair, inaugurated the Jordanian pavilion at the exhibition, on behalf of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Promotion Authority, in the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador in London, Manar Al-Dabbas, and the General Manager of the Jordanian Heritage Revival Company, Moayyad Abu Roman.

Al-Khudair met with a number of visitors from the Jordanian pavilion, partners in the tourism sector, officials of international tourism companies, and representatives of international travel agencies, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and build future partnerships aimed at raising Jordan's global tourism stature and introducing its diverse tourism features.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, a press conference was held at the Jordanian pavilion attended by the Jordanian Heritage Revival Company, with participation from some of the leading global media specialized in tourism, and a number of interviews were conducted with international media institutions including Bloomberg News Network and Reuters agency.

In this regard, Al-Khudair stated, “The World Travel Market is one of the most important international events in the tourism and travel sector, as it provides a major platform for promoting the Jordanian tourism destination and highlighting its status on the global tourism map, through the opportunities it offers for exchanging expertise and exploring ways of cooperation and building new partnerships with various international partners.”

He emphasized that the exhibition also represents an opportunity to showcase the unique tourism features of Jordan, its richness in archaeological and historical sites, and its varied experiences that reflect the richness and diversity of the Jordanian tourism product, highlighting that the kingdom is also distinguished by its safe and stable environment, making it a preferred and secure destination for tourists from around the world.

Al-Khudair reviewed the kingdom's efforts in developing the tourism product, services, and infrastructure to enhance tourism movement and attract visitors from various parts of the world, and the steps taken to enhance tourism from the European continent through strategic partnerships with airlines such as Wizz Air, Ryanair, and Eurowings, appreciating the role of the ministry's partners in various sectors, particularly the private sector.

The Jordanian pavilion at the World Travel Market witnessed a wide turnout from visitors, specialists, and decision-makers in the tourism and travel sector, where the pavilion showcased the diverse tourism features of the kingdom, including archaeological sites and unique tourism experiences, highlighting the diversity of its tourist destinations and the richness of the experiences it offers to visitors from around the world.

The exhibition, held for the thirty-fifth time and gathering more than 4,000 exhibitors from over 180 countries, sees the participation of about 45,000 tourism and travel industry pioneers from around the world, serving as a global platform to introduce tourism destinations and enhance cooperation between ministries and tourism authorities, clients, and travel agents.
