Khaberni - The Egyptian artist Hamdi El-Wazir denied what had been circulated on social media in the past hours regarding the deterioration of his health condition or his undergoing treatment in one of the hospitals, emphasizing that what is published in this regard is completely untrue.
El-Wazir said in statements to the media: "What deterioration? Do not believe what is said on social media, I am in perfect shape and thank God."
He explained that he is in good health and continues his artistic activity normally without any health obstacles.
During a routine checkup, Hamdi El-Wazir mentioned that he went to the hospital to undergo a routine examination he undergoes every 3 months, following the surgery he had on his heart in 2022 to treat an expansion in one of the arteries, emphasizing that he is keen on continuous follow-up with doctors as a preventive measure only.
He added: "I finished the examination and returned home, and thank God I am fine,"
He urged not to follow rumors that cause concern without basis, especially those related to the health of artists and their families.
He indicated that he was surprised by the recurrence of rumors about his health condition recently, which reached to his death or murder, saying: "I don't know who has me on their mind, once they say I was killed, and once they say I am dying, but I am in perfect shape and thank God."**media[2713975]**
The Egyptian artist explained that these rumors had psychologically affected him, adding: "I was surprised that there is a whole scenario on TikTok that I was killed in my car and stabbed in my neck, these rumors hurt me and affect my family."
Complaints against rumor mongers The lawyer of the artist Hamdi El-Wazir announced the filing of two official complaints to the office of the Attorney General against those spreading these false rumors, confirming that his client is in good health.
On the artistic front, Hamdi El-Wazir recently participated in the first Port Said Film Festival and made sure to attend its various events. His latest artistic work was his participation in the series "Mousa" starring Mohamed Ramadan, and also starring Somaya El Khashab, Riad El Khouly, Abeer Sabry, and Heba Magdi, written by Nasser Abdel Rahman, and directed by Mohamed Salama.
