Khaberni - White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt stated on Tuesday that President Donald Trump is closely monitoring the situation in Nigeria following his warning that he might launch military attacks there.
The American president announced on Sunday that he is considering a wide range of military options related to Nigeria, following his threat to intervene to protect Christians in the most populous African country.
In response to a question about whether he is considering sending ground troops to Nigeria or launching airstrikes, Trump replied, "It's possible, I mean, there are a lot of options (...) In my view, there are many of them."
