Khaberni - Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Imad Hijazin, inspected Al-Karak Castle, and reviewed the needs of the archaeological site and the services provided to visitors.

 

He affirmed that the ministry is working on enhancing tourism activities in Al-Karak and activating developmental and tourism projects there, pointing out that the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Al-Karak was to emphasize the importance of improving the tourism sector in the province.

 

He said that the ministry is proceeding with the implementation of a number of projects, most notably the Al-Karak cable car project, which is expected to stimulate tourist movement and attract local and foreign visitors, in addition to supporting local communities and improving the level of tourism services.

 

Hijazin emphasized the importance of cooperation between official entities and members of the local community to ensure the success of tourism plans and achieve sustainable development in the province.
