Khaberni - The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, called today, Tuesday, for the urgent need to find a political solution that stops the war in Sudan and ensures the country’s unity, sovereignty, and the safety of its territories.
The Emir of Qatar expressed in his speech at the World Summit for Social Development in Doha, his shock at the atrocities witnessed in El Fasher city, condemning these violations decisively and calling on the international community to bear its responsibilities and effectively act to stop the conflict and crimes committed against civilians in Sudan.
The Emir of Qatar indicated that social development is an existential necessity for peoples, emphasizing the need for international cooperation and solidarity to address challenges of poverty and unemployment. He also affirmed that achieving social development in societies depends on the presence of peace and stability, considering permanent peace as the way to achieve justice and sustainable development.
In a related context, the Emir of Qatar expressed his solidarity with the Palestinian people facing the effects of Israeli aggression, urging the international community to double efforts and provide support for the reconstruction of Palestine and to secure the needs of its people.
He said, "We call on the international community to double efforts and provide support to the Palestinian people for reconstruction and to secure their needs."
