Khaberni - A woman shockingly argued with the airline staff at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Vietnam after they refused to allow her on the plane with her carry-on bag that exceeded the allowed weight, sparking a wave of mockery on social media.
In the viral video, the woman was seen screaming and stamping her feet on the ground, refusing to comply with security orders, amid the astonishment of onlookers and the fright visible on the faces of children present at the scene.
According to media reports, the bag weighed about 21 kg, close to the allowable limit for checked luggage which is usually 23kg.
Despite warnings from the airline staff that she was required to check in the bag, she insisted on taking it into the cabin, leading to a heated altercation at the boarding gate.
One social media user commented on the incident, saying, "There is no need to cause chaos when your carry-on bag exceeds the allowed weight," noting that low-cost airlines are strict in enforcing baggage policies, and that the woman clearly tried to circumvent the rules.
Videos documenting the incident quickly spread online, and comments from criticizing travelers poured in.
A sarcastic user wondered: "21 kg carry-on bag? Are you carrying gold bars?" while another pointed out that the maximum allowed for carry-on luggage on an airplane is only 10 kg, expressing shock at her insistence on carrying a bag weighing more than twice that.
