Egypt  Release of Sheikh Mustafa AlAdawi after his attack on the Grand Museum

Khaberni - The rights lawyer Khaled El-Masry announced via his account on "Facebook", the release of the Egyptian Salafi preacher Mustafa Al-Adawi on financial bail after he was presented to the investigative authorities.

Khaled El-Masry said in his post: "Sheikh Mustafa Al-Adawi was released on a bail of 10,000 Egyptian pounds after his presentation to the Public Prosecutor at the Mansoura Court Complex".

On Monday morning, November 3rd, the Egyptian security forces arrested the famous Egyptian Islamic preacher Mustafa Al-Adawi in Dakahlia governorate.

Al-Adawi was arrested after a video he posted on social media describing the artifacts collected in the Grand Egyptian Museum as Pharaonic idols that should not be boasted about or glorified.

In the video, Al-Adawi said, "The Grand Museum has gathered some idols and statues of the Pharaohs, and some treasures of the Pharaohs and mummification techniques."

Addressing the Egyptians, he said: "O people of Egypt, if you are creating a museum that gathers Pharaonic artifacts, enter it as a lesson, not as a pride in disbelief."

The Egyptian preacher concluded his message saying: "I fear for a Muslim person that his heart may become contaminated with love for Pharaoh and his people."
