Khaberni - Egyptian star Mohamed Salah stated that his club, Liverpool Football Club, "will be fine" in the coming phase, after suffering several defeats in various competitions recently.
Mohamed Salah contributed to his team Liverpool's victory over Aston Villa with a clean two goals in the match held last Saturday night at "Anfield", as part of the tenth round of the English Premier League "Premier League", scoring the lead goal for "The Reds" at the end of the first half.
33-year-old Salah told the British "TNT Sports" network: "It was a very important victory, we had some losses in the English Premier League and the Champions League, but I'm happy that we are starting to get back on the right track now."
He added: "It's a good victory before two very important matches, against Real Madrid and Manchester City, it's a very important victory for us."
Mohamed Salah expressed his confidence that his club will perform well in the coming days, saying: "I've said from the beginning, I know football, and I've played it for many years, this season will be very tough for us."
He continued: "We had some new players, we signed them very well, but they need some time to adapt to the old formation, and we also lost some good players."
The Egyptian star explained, "We just need the time to adjust and understand how to play among ourselves," affirming, "I think we will be fine."
It is worth noting that Mohamed reached his 250th goal with the "The Reds" shirt after the goal he scored against Aston Villa, equalling Wayne Rooney's record for most goals contributed by a single player in the history of the Premier League (276 goals).
The Egyptian star contributed to scoring 276 goals for Liverpool in the English Premier League, with a total of 187 goals and 88 decisive assists, during 298 matches.
Mohamed Salah, in all his appearances in the English Premier League (with Chelsea and Liverpool together), matched the legend Frank Lampard with 279 appearances in Premier League goals, scoring 190 goals and contributing about 89 decisive assists, surpassed in the history of the competition only by Alan Shearer (324) and Wayne Rooney (311) in combined goals and assists.
