Khaberni - Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water, Joseph Sadi, revealed that a trilateral meeting will be held in Amman on the 20th of this month, with the participation of the Jordanian Energy Minister Saleh Al-Kharabsheh and the Syrian counterpart Mohammed Al-Bashir.
Sadi explained in an interview aired by CNBC Arabia that the meeting aims to discuss the possibility of reactivating the electrical interconnection lines and the Arab Gas Pipeline.
The minister clarified that both the Jordanian and Lebanese sides are technically and infrastructurally ready, and the meeting will evaluate the technical readiness within Syrian territory to reactivate the interconnection.
