Ilham posted a video on her Instagram account showing her with several stars including Lebleba, Hany Ramzy, and Ahmed Bedeer at the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, during their visit to Iraq to attend the "Egyptian-American Festival for Cinema and Arts," capturing moments of dancing and joy among the stars, confirming the strength of their friendly relations and cooperation.

Ilham Shaheen expressed her tremendous joy on the occasion of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, emphasizing that it is a magnificent edifice befitting the name and great civilization of Egypt.
Ilham said, "Congratulations to us on the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, congratulations to all of us, Egyptians, a magnificent edifice befitting the name of Egypt and its great civilization, which we proudly present to the whole world. A major event that the whole world is eagerly awaiting."
She added: "We look forward to a rise in tourism levels in Egypt, as the whole world will want to come and see this magnificent edifice, which houses almost half of the world’s artifacts, a great and respectable thing that honors Egypt and its name."
