Khaberni - Following the news and rumors that impacted his personal life, artist Abdullah Al-Sadhan broke his silence to respond to several issues that had arisen recently, regarding his wife and his artistic separation from artist Nasser Al-Qasabi.
The Saudi artist responded to the criticisms of his wife following her appearance at the Joy Awards entertainment industry event, affirming that he was not affected by the negative comments he received on social media.
He continued in the podcast "Al-Malz": "And what's the problem? I did not place her beside me for her to be photographed, nor was she with me in the same place, she was part of the audience. And she's my wife, not a stranger to feel embarrassed about sitting next to her. I didn't bring her for show or media appearance, thus the criticisms are out of place unless the woman was a stranger to me."
Explaining the dispute with Nasser Al-Qasabi
Al-Sadhan also addressed the true nature of his artistic split from Nasser Al-Qasabi, asserting that it was the result of differing artistic visions regarding the continuation of the series "Tash Ma Tash", and it wasn’t a personal conflict, but rather, it was blown out of proportion, saying: "Differences are natural in any artistic work, maybe I was right or he was, but social media blew things out of proportion and took them out of context."
He emphasized that the real reason for the dispute was their discussion about whether to stop the "Tash Ma Tash" series at the eighteenth part or continue to the twentieth only.
Suffering from financial losses
Abdullah Al-Sadhan revealed the financial losses he faced following the series "Tash Ma Tash", explaining that he produced four artistic works on his own, but they did not achieve the desired success because his aim was not to generate financial return, but rather to continue in the artistic arena.
He mentioned that he came out of these experiences at a loss and in debt, facing criticisms due to disputes with some colleagues over his inability to fully settle their dues, saying: "I do not deprive anyone of their rights; on the contrary, if I gave someone a thousand, I would like to give him 1500 more, but that's how the circumstances played out."
