Khaberni - Khaled Al-Ajmi, the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs in Kuwait, announced the inclusion of 18 wedding halls and 22 social development centers in the government's unified electronic services application (Sahel) and the (Dar Al-Manasib) application, making them available for online booking starting from tomorrow Monday, as part of the ministry's digital transformation plan to improve its social services.

Al-Ajmi stated in a press statement today, Sunday, that these measures stem from the directives of the Minister of Social Affairs and Affairs of Family and Childhood, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, and are part of the ministry's efforts to make its services available electronically and to expand the scope of utilizing social facilities in all provinces. He clarified that including the halls and centers in the government applications aims to simplify and unify booking procedures through an electronic platform that allows citizens to easily and transparently book them for their social events.

He reported that the ministry is proceeding with the implementation of decision number 40 of 2025, which mandates withdrawing wedding halls from cooperative societies and reassigning them to the Ministry of Social Affairs in preparation for their gradual inclusion in the unified electronic system to ensure better organization of booking processes and achieve fairness in the use of these public facilities.

He confirmed that booking through (Sahel) or (Dar Al-Manasib) will provide a facilitated experience for citizens enabling them to choose the suitable hall or center and follow up on their bookings electronically without the need for paper reviews, thus enhancing performance efficiency and embedding the principle of transparency in social services. Al-Ajmi emphasized the ministry's continued development of its digital system and expansion of the scope of halls and centers included in the service in the upcoming phase, in line with the state's direction towards digitizing government services and providing them at the highest standards of quality and ease for citizens.
