Khaberni - The banking sector rejected approximately 77.2 thousand new financing applications in nine months of the current year, with a value exceeding one billion dinars, noting that the total value of the requested facilities increased by about 1.951 billion dinars compared to 2024 according to the latest data issued by the Central Bank.
According to the latest data, the value of the new facilities that customers applied for in the three quarters ending in 2025 reached 10.732 billion dinars, against 8.781 billion dinars in the same period last year.
The figures issued by the Central Bank indicate that the local banking sector approved financing facilities amounting to 9.386 billion dinars in nine months of the current year, while it rejected financing for loans and facilities amounting to 1.345 billion dinars during this period.
As for the total number of new facilities, it reached 316 thousand applications in three quarters of the current year, for various sectors, and the banking sector approved facilities for 239 thousand applications, while it rejected the remaining number of financings.
Looking at the total facilities, which amounted from January to the end of September 2025 to 35.980 billion dinars, the vast majority of which went to the private sector, both resident and non-resident, and at a rate of 89%, amounting to more than 32 billion dinars.
