Khaberni - The Ministry of Education, during the first year of Jafar Hassan's government, completed many educational and developmental projects that included building new schools, developing educational facilities, and improving educational services across various provinces.
According to government data covering the period from September 2024 to September 2025, the Ministry of Education established 28 new schools in various areas, and completed 42 classroom additions to expand the capacity of existing schools.
In the context of improving the educational environment, the ministry conducted maintenance for 1264 schools, and carried out a field survey of 3442 schools throughout the kingdom.
To develop education, the ministry equipped 1079 laboratories for electronic high school exams and accommodated 135,000 children in kindergartens, with a focus on enhancing early childhood education in the kingdom.
The ministry announced the accommodation of 30,000 students with disabilities, and provided transport alternatives for 2,176 students. Additionally, 3 inclusive centers were established for people with special needs as part of the support for social and educational integration of this group.
The ministry launched a series of decisions supporting teachers, including the allocation of lands for teacher housing, increase in the scholarship for teachers' children at universities, and increased proportion of teachers in official Hajj missions.
