Khaberni - The Syrian actress Kinda Hanna detailed what happened to her recently in the backstage of the series "Al-Noilati", explaining that her withdrawal from the work was not a personal decision but due to the rejection of the lead actor's presence, as told by the production company "Golden Line".
Samer Al Masri does not want Kinda Hanna in Al-Noilati
Kinda stated during her appearance on the show "Wabadeen" that she received a call from the general supervisor of the work, director Rasha Sharbatji, explaining: "She told me not to be upset, so I asked her what does that mean? Did I do something wrong? She told me in essence that the lead actor does not want you, and the lead actor is Samer Al Masri."
She added that she later received a call from Diala Al Ahmar, the manager of "Golden Line" production company, who informed her that Samer Al Masri does not want her presence, and that he will choose another actress to perform the role, and Kinda continued: "I asked her who the actress is? She said it’s a media person who cannot act, but Samer said he would teach her acting."
Kinda mentioned that she requested compensation after stopping shooting, however, Diala Al Ahmar called her later and informed her that the company does not intend to pay any compensation, concluding her talk about this issue with "there is a law".
Kinda clarified that she will not stop at this work: "I do not need someone to compensate me for work; because I receive many offers, and when I am absent, it is by my own decision, and I went to the Union of Artists and the Syrian Drama Committee and filed a complaint not just to avoid being silent about these matters but to stop this cliquishness and ‘gang’ activities within the artistic community."

Kinda also clarified the controversy around the phrase "I felt a rod of fire" confirming that it has nothing to do with the fall of the previous regime but relates to what the country went through over the past 14 years and the fear of the unknown alongside disturbances in her personal life during the same period, and praised the role of public security who contacted her and confirmed that she stands by the new state in case anything was requested from her.
She also emphasized that she has not made any political statements neither in the past nor present because she is an artist concerned with artistic and dramatic matters.
Kinda settles the controversy regarding her statements about her husband Naji Touma
She also resolved the ongoing debate on social media about her relationship with her husband, director Naji Touma, stating that if time could be reversed she would not marry someone much older than her, stressing that this situation is personal to Kinda and not a general rule, and clarified the confusion around her relationship with him.
Kinda also talked about her relationship with her late father, her siblings, especially her brother Murshid Hanna who is closest to her heart as she mentioned that he accompanies her in the shooting of series and shows, and also spoke about the spiritual connection she shares with Murshid.
