Khaberni - Mahmoud Eid, the head of the Jordanian Barbers, said today, Sunday, that the union is aiming to set the barbering prices according to the provinces.

The union leader continued in his talk with "Khaberni" that barbers in the kingdom are demanding a price increase, adding that the price increase will not be uniform but will vary by province, for example, the price for a haircut in West Amman will be one price, and in East Amman another price.

He noted that the new pricing for barbering will be approved and official in all provinces.

He explained that taking Monday off will be mandatory for barbers, for several purposes, Khaberni the most important of which is to enhance their connection with their families, and to ensure they get an appropriate amount of rest, adding that having Monday off will improve the flow of barbering on Sunday.

The union leader demanded that the Ministry of Labor stop the employment of migrant workers Khaberni in the barbering profession, as it is considered a profession closed to Jordanians only, and others are not allowed to work in it.
