Khaberni - Saudi Arabia, Russia, and six other members of the OPEC+ alliance decided to increase their oil production quotas for December during an online meeting on Sunday, also announcing that they will not increase any quotas in the first quarter of 2026.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) stated in a release that the eight participating countries will increase "production by 137,000 barrels per day" in December compared to the production levels required in November, as analysts had predicted.

Moreover, the concerned countries decided to "suspend the production increase" during the first quarter of the next year.
