Khaberni - On Sunday, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nancy Namrouqa inspected the certification office affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, located within the investment window of the Directorate of Investor Services in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.

During the visit, accompanied by the Vice President of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Karima Al-Dabit, Namrouqa stated that the ministry aims to provide a range of services and authenticate documents issued by official entities for citizens across different governorates of the kingdom; this facilitates the service recipients and ensures the enhancement of the quality of services provided to them.

Namrouqa explained that there are 17 certification offices, including 9 in the governorates and 8 in the capital, Amman, committed to providing services to citizens, enhancing their quality, and facilitating their delivery.

Namrouqa affirmed that the purpose of having the office within the investment window is to assist investors, companies, institutions, bodies, and residents of the Aqaba governorate and neighboring governorates, and to enhance the ministry's role in serving citizens and businessmen and investors both domestically and abroad.

Namrouqa pointed out that the ministry is aiming to expand the umbrella of electronic portals as part of the digital transformation in Jordanian missions abroad to serve expatriates and Jordanian citizens more quickly and easily after launching them in Kuwait, Riyadh, Berlin, Jeddah, and London, with other embassies and missions to follow soon; the goal is to enhance the level and speed of services provided electronically to citizens and expatriates, ensuring ease of access, reflecting integration with the executive program for economic modernization and the government's vision towards digital transformation and electronic services.
