AlEissawi Welcomes Student Bushra at the Royal Court After a Moving Incident Photos

Khaberni - In a humanitarian gesture, the head of the Royal Hashemite Court, Youssef Hassan Al-Eissawi, welcomed student Bushra, who suffers from Down syndrome, at the headquarters of the Royal Court - the home of all Jordanians, after a touching incident that occurred during his visit to the Nazik Al-Hariri Center for Special Education.
Bushra, who is twenty years old, felt sad after Al-Eissawi – unintentionally – was unable to shake her hand during his visit to the center, leading her to return home in a state of distress. Upon learning what happened, he immediately invited Bushra and her mother to visit the Royal Court the following day.
During the meeting, which lasted more than an hour and a half, Al-Eissawi expressed his great appreciation for Bushra and his keenness to listen to her and encourage her, in a scene that embodied the noblest meanings of humanity and compassion, representing the essence of the Hashemite message.
Bushra, who studies in a computer science diploma program in collaboration with the Hashemite University, is an inspiring example of challenge and excellence; she is a champion of the Jordan Special Olympics in swimming, and has won three gold medals at the Berlin 2023 Olympics, and practices multiple sports such as boxing, bowling, and ballet, in addition to her unique talent in designing and marketing polymer clay at the “Planted with Love” bazaar.
Bushra expressed her feelings about the meeting with touching words, saying:
"In my journey to find someone to embrace me and on whose shoulder I can rest my head... I wished for the meeting, and it happened faster than I imagined... and here I am today, sitting in the presence of the father and support, telling him about myself, as he was the listening ear and the beating heart with a warmth I had never known before."
It should be noted that this spontaneous humanitarian incident reflects the real role of the Royal Hashemite Court as a national umbrella, committed to humanity and dignity, and translating the visions of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, God preserve him, in making the Jordanian human being a priority.
