Khaberni - The Director of Traffic Management, Brigadier General Raed Al-Assaf, stated that the purpose of the winter campaign is "awareness" and not "violation," indicating that drivers of vehicles not ready received "notifications" about deficiencies (such as tires, wipers, lights, and heaters) without an immediate violation being issued.
He explained: "No violations will be issued during the one-week period. If the citizen does not address the situation and consult the relevant authorities after the week is over, a violation will be issued."
