Khaberni - The External Patrols Administration seized today, Sunday, an offending passenger bus on the desert road, specifically in the Qatrana area, which was carrying 80 passengers, thus exceeding the legal load limit by 30 additional passengers.
The Public Security Directorate confirmed that its specialized teams immediately took the necessary measures to secure the passengers and ensure their safety, noting that the driver would be referred for legal proceedings due to committing a dangerous traffic violation that poses a direct threat to passengers' lives.
This action is part of the ongoing campaign carried out by the Directorate on external roads, with the aim of controlling violations related to public transport, and ensuring that vehicles comply with legally prescribed loads.
In this context, the Directorate renewed its warning to drivers and operators of transport means against negligence in enforcing traffic laws, affirming that public safety is a top priority, and there will be no tolerance for violators.
