Khaberni - An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale was recorded today, Sunday, centered in the village of Ras al-Ain in the Yabroud area - Qalamoun in the Damascus countryside, at 1:27 AM Syrian time.
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that the center of the earthquake was near the city of Douma in the Damascus countryside, noting that residents of several surrounding areas felt the tremor, with no reports of material or human damage so far.
