Khaberni - The Minister of Local Administration, Engineer Walid Al-Masri, inspected today, Saturday, a number of municipalities in Al-Mafraq Governorate, including Al-Basiliyah, Al-Sarhan, and Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, as part of his field tours to monitor the level of services provided to citizens, and to assess the municipalities' readiness for the winter season.
During the tour, Al-Masri met with the chairpersons of committees and a number of municipal employees at their headquarters, and listened to a detailed briefing on the progress of work, executed projects, and the financial, administrative, and service procedures followed, in addition to discussing the major challenges facing municipal work and ways to address them.
Furthermore, the Minister inspected a number of sites and areas related to these municipalities, observed ongoing maintenance works, rainwater drainage networks, cleaning of valley channels, and the general cleanliness level, within the municipalities' proactive plans to enhance their readiness for the upcoming winter season.
During the tour, Al-Masri emphasized the necessity of improving the level of cleanliness and public services, enhancing the efficiency of municipal field staff, and stressed the importance of cooperation among various service institutions to ensure the sustainability of services and provide a safe environment for citizens during the winter.
