Khaberni - Hussein Shreim, the President of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, announced that the value of commercial exports (re-exports) from Zarqa city during last October was about 52.36 million dinars, according to the statistics of the origin certificates issued by the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce and its office in the free zone, totaling 393 certificates.
Shreim stated in a press statement on Saturday that automobiles and their supplies topped the list of Zarqa's commercial exports last month, followed by building materials, sanitary tools, medicines and their supplies, foodstuffs, clothing, jewelry, and electrical and electronic devices, in addition to home and office furniture and stationery.
He added, the volume of commercial exports from the city of Zarqa saw a significant rise in October compared to the previous September, which then was about 31 million dinars, while exports for October 2024 reached nearly 40 million dinars, reflecting an increasing growth in commercial activity and export movement of the city.
