Dean of Journalists and his Deputy at Amman Ahliyya University

Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amman Ahliyya University andKhaberni -  University President Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan at the university hosted the Dean of Jordanian Journalists, Mr. Tareq Momani, and his Deputy, Mr. Awni Al-Dawood, during their visit to the university two days ago, Thursday, in the presence of the university's media advisor, Mr. Ahmad Anabousi..

Dr. Maher Al-Hourani and Dr. Sari Hamdan spoke about the significant advancements the university has achieved in scientific and knowledge fields and scientific research , as well as developing the teaching process and incorporating artificial intelligence across all university specialties, and working on university automation.

They also referred to the university's active role in the community, and its support for students who excel in sports and arts by providing all necessary facilities in various fields.

They noted that approximately 60% of the university students are international, which positively impacts educational tourism .

They expressed pride and honor that the university has joined the club of the top500 world universities according to global rankings, having achieved rank 441 according to Times ranking 2026 , emphasizing that working as a team"and not personalization" is the key to success.

They confirmed the introduction of dozens of modern specialties required in the local, regional, and global job markets, in addition to developing the university's infrastructure with modern facilities and equipment appropriate to its global standing.

The guests expressed great admiration for the status the university has achieved at various levels, congratulating the university for ranking among the top500 universities worldwide.

Discussions took place on ways to strengthen joint cooperation in terms of various activities including joint seminars, conferences, and journalistic training as needed.
