AlMomani No transfer of files and the next phase is for evaluating the completion rates on the ground

Khaberni - The Minister of Government Communication, the official spokesman of the government, Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani, confirmed that the government of Dr. Jaafar Hassan succeeded during its first year in achieving tangible results on both economic and service levels, noting that the economic modernization vision has started to bear real fruits through the improvement of key economic indicators and increased confidence in government performance.

He stated that the general approach is based on not transferring any files and dealing with all issues rationally and responsibly, aiming to have a direct impact on citizens' lives and enhancing the quality of public services in various sectors.

Al-Momani, through the "Roya" channel, emphasized that the government, since its formation, has focused on implementing a package of decisions aimed at accelerating investment pace and attracting foreign capital, in parallel with reformative and service procedures intended to ease the burden on citizens and enhance the level of public services.

Al-Momani explained that recent economic data shows a noticeable improvement in overall performance, highlighting that the most prominent indicators included the increase in the volume of foreign investments, rise in exports, and the foreign reserves reaching an unprecedented record level, along with an increase in the economic growth rate.

He added that these indicators confirm that the economic and administrative decisions taken during the first year are beginning to reflect directly on the macroeconomy, enhancing confidence in the government's economic path, and preparing the environment for more major projects in the coming period.

Al-Momani noted that the government did not limit itself to the economic side but also issued direct service decisions that alleviated burdens on citizens and simultaneously improved public revenues.

He mentioned that among the most notable of these decisions were exemptions from penalties due on late taxpayers, to encourage them to regularize their financial statuses, in addition to granting a grace period for the licensing of vehicles that have been unlicensed for years, which led to the regularization of thousands of vehicles.

Al-Momani highlighted that one of the most distinctive features of the government is direct fieldwork, whether through cabinet sessions in the provinces or field tours by the prime minister to monitor projects realistically.

He clarified that everything committed to during these tours is included in institutional follow-up schedules that contain clear timelines and specific budgets, ensuring the implementation of decisions and not leaving any promises without follow-up.

He mentioned that the first phase of the field cabinet sessions concluded last week in the capital, Amman, and that the second phase will begin soon, focusing on evaluating the achievement rates of the projects committed to a year ago, and showcasing the future developmental vision for each province.

Regarding the challenges, Al-Momani said that the most significant issues faced by the government were defining developmental priorities and securing the necessary funding for them, in addition to accelerating the administrative procedures required for major investment projects.

He explained that the government dealt with these challenges by enhancing the partnership with the private sector, noting that the Madaba Hospital project represents a successful model for cooperation between the public and private sectors, alongside supporting community responsibility initiatives of companies in various provinces.

Al-Momani revealed that the coming year will witness the commencement of major strategic projects, among them the national water desalination transport project, which is a national priority to address the water challenge, in addition to a project connecting Risha gas with pipelines to supply industrial areas with energy, contributing to reducing production costs and enhancing the competitiveness of the national industry.

He also referred to developmental projects under implementation in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone aimed at enhancing economic activity and investment in the south.

In the education sector, Al-Momani confirmed that the government approved a package of decisions to support teachers, including the Royal Grant for their children, pilgrimage sponsorships, and facilities in granting financial loans, noting that these decisions came in appreciation of the teachers' role in building generations.

He also talked about tangible improvements in the health and transport sectors, pointing to progress in projects of Al-Bassma, Madaba, Madei, and Al-Iman hospitals, along with the expansion of regular transportation services between Jerash, Irbid, Karak, and the capital, Amman, and the successful experiment of the rapid transit bus between Madaba and Amman as a precursor to its expansion to Al-Salt and other governorates.
