Khaberni - Social media users have shared a new video clip concerning the Egyptian folk singer Rahma Mohsen.

This coincided with the Egyptian singer Rahma Mohsen's report to the public prosecutor, accusing her ex-husband of blackmailing her and threatening to publish video clips without her knowledge during their marriage.

Previously, the attorney of the Egyptian singer Rahma Mohsen formally reported to the public prosecutor, accusing her ex-husband of blackmailing her and threatening to publish recorded clips during their marriage without her knowledge, demanding an urgent investigation and legal accountability.

The attorney explained that his client was shocked after the divorce to find her ex-husband financially blackmailing her using those secretly recorded clips during their marital relationship, exploiting her trust in him.

He mentioned that the accused demanded 3 million Egyptian pounds in exchange for not publishing the videos or sending them to her relatives and friends, noting that he sent repeated threatening messages via WhatsApp from foreign numbers that explicitly threatened to publish that material, which caused the artist significant psychological harm and disrupted her family and professional life.

In a recent development, another attorney filed a counter-report against Rahma Mohsen, accusing her of "inciting debauchery and immorality" and posting indecent pictures and clips on social media platforms, including the "Telegram" app, according to the report text.

The security forces have begun examining the circulated clips and photos to identify the individuals shown and the circumstances of their publication, in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions if their authenticity is proven.

The concerned authorities are continuing the investigations in both incidents simultaneously, amidst anticipation for the results of the digital inspection and technical reports that will determine the legal direction for each party in the upcoming weeks of November.
