Khaberni - A 15-year-old Indian boy was killed after being hit by a train while trying to record a short video on the railway tracks in Odisha.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 21 (October) this year, at Janakdibbur station near Puri district, and was recorded by surveillance cameras before later spreading on social media platforms.
The victim, Vishwajeet Sahu, was with his mother after visiting the crowded Dakshinkali Temple, but he decided to stop on the tracks to film a popular video on Instagram and Tik Tok.
He stood on one side of the tracks while the phone recorded, and the boy did not notice the train approaching from the opposite direction, which struck him in a few seconds, leading to his immediate death, according to the Odisha Railway Police, who recovered his body and classified the incident as an accident linked to negligence.
This is not the first incident of its kind, as India has witnessed several cases in recent years of teenagers or youths who were injured or died while trying to film videos in dangerous places.
In August (August) last year, a 22-year-old YouTuber went missing while filming a video near the Duduma waterfall in Koraput district, and his body was not found despite the efforts of rescue teams.
