Khaberni - The settler gangs continue their organized assaults against Palestinian citizens and their properties across the West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, with the latest incident being the brutal attack targeting the home of citizen Mahmoud Dghamin in the Wadi Ajheish area belonging to As-Samu town south of Hebron, a few days ago.

Dghamin said in an audio recording that the settlers threw two tear gas grenades inside his house, which led to severe suffocation of his wife, his mother, and his four children, Mohammad, Ahmad, Saddam, and Amri, who is six months old, confirming that his infant was greatly affected by inhaling the gas.

He added that the settlers broke into the adjacent sheep pen and stabbed four sheep and killed ten newborn lambs, as well as stabbed the tires of his private vehicle and burned the livestock feed before fleeing the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured moments of the brutal assault, where a group of masked settlers attacked the house, released the gas, then assaulted the properties, and entered the sheep pen, mercilessly attacking the sheep and lambs visibly.

This assault is part of a series of escalating attacks carried out by settlers in the southern areas of Hebron, especially in the villages and areas of Yatta, As-Samu, and Susiya, which aim to target homes, farmers, and shepherds in an attempt to take over agricultural lands and drive the locals to leave.

The locals of the area and human rights organizations have called for international protection for the Palestinian citizens and an end to the frequent crimes by the settlers, emphasizing that the silence of the international community encourages escalation of violence and undermines the chances of stability.
