Khaberni - The artist Amal Maher expressed her annoyance with the repeated rumors about her marriage, confirming that her distance from the spotlight has made her personal life a subject of public curiosity.

She said: "I am so tired of hearing that I got married, I got tired of responding, people love to know details about you so they imagine things."

She added that her calm nature makes her prefer to stay away from the limelight, explaining: "I love peace, watching a series and drinking my coffee, going to the coast for a couple of days and returning. I don't like too much talking."

She noted that her artistic journey was full of challenges, but she considers the love and sympathy of the people as the greatest reward she has received.

Amal Maher revealed that Lebanese artist Elissa was a reason for her to rediscover herself artistically after the release of the album "Ayami Beek", saying: "Elissa provoked me beautifully, and made me search for Amal's essence, and from there came the album 'A'raf Minen' which was a turning point in my life."

About the secrets behind some famous songs, she explained that the song "Ya Ritak Fahemni" which was sung by Angham was originally hers, and it was supposed to be released in her album "Wlad El Naharda", but fate decided otherwise.

She added that the songs "Molhemto Al Wahida" by Assala and "Ehtemal Warid" by Samira Said were also among the songs nominated for her upcoming albums.

She concluded her talk by affirming that she feels grateful for everyone who considers her a part of their family, saying: "People see me as one of them, not just an artist they love, and that’s the most valuable thing to me."
