Khaberni - Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid’s coach, included Brazilian star Vinicius Junior in the team list for the match against Valencia in the 11th round of "La Liga", confirming that there will be "no penalty" on the player after his conduct following his substitution in the last "El Clasico" against Barcelona.
Real Madrid will miss four players in this match: three due to injury, namely Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, and Antonio Rudiger, in addition to the suspended Andriy Lunin.
Carvajal’s injury is the most recent, as the player underwent an arthroscopy in his right knee which will keep him off the pitch for about two months, after he had recently returned to play in "El Clasico" before his injury recurred.
Austrian defender Alaba is also absent due to not recovering from muscle strain, while German Rudiger continues his treatment for a muscle tear in his left thigh.
As for Ukrainian goalkeeper Lunin, he was sent off from the bench in the Barcelona match, which led to his exclusion from the next game.
To compensate for Lunin's absence, Alonso called up the young goalkeepers Sergio Mestre and Fran Gonzalez from the club’s academy.
