Khaberni - The Traffic Department affiliated with the Public Security Directorate in Jordan announced that starting tomorrow morning, Saturday, they will launch a technical inspection campaign on vehicles, to ensure their technical readiness for the winter season, which will continue for a month.
The department indicated that a sticker will be placed on the vehicle after the inspection is completed, so it will not be stopped again if it is found to be valid.
If a defect is found in a vehicle, the driver will be given a notice to rectify it within seven days, and an SMS message regarding this will be sent to the vehicle owner's phone number.
The campaign aims to ensure the technical readiness of the vehicles and provide a safe traffic environment that helps to protect the lives and property of road users and minimize traffic accidents or technical failures that could affect the smoothness of traffic flow.
