Khaberni - The petroleum derivatives pricing committee held its monthly meeting today, Friday, to determine the local selling prices of petroleum derivatives for the period from (November 1–30 next).
The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and petroleum derivatives during the current month of October and compared them to those of the previous September, where the global price averages showed a decrease in prices for both types of gasoline (90 and 95) with diesel prices remaining stable during the current October.
After applying the pricing formula according to global prices on all petroleum derivatives, it was evident that the price of gasoline 90 decreased by (10) fils/liter, and the price of gasoline 95 by (5) fils/liter, with the price of diesel remaining stable.
Accordingly, the petroleum derivatives pricing committee decided to adjust the selling price of Octane 90 gasoline to become (845) fils/liter instead of (855) fils/liter, and the selling price of Octane 95 gasoline to become (1075) fils/liter instead of (1080) fils/liter, and to maintain the selling price of diesel at (685) fils/liter, continuing to keep the selling price of kerosene at (620) fils/liter, and maintaining the selling price of a household gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at (7) dinars/cylinder.
It is worth mentioning that the average price of Brent crude during the current month of October was about ($64.7) per barrel compared with the average price in the previous September, which was about ($68) per barrel.
