Bananas a Super Fruit Recommended for Daily Consumption For the Following Reasons

Khaberni - Bananas are often termed as "the energy fruit," as they are an ideal option before exercising or as a quick and easy breakfast snack.

According to a report by "Times of India," Dr. Tarang Krishna believes that the benefits of eating bananas extend beyond just providing energy. Consuming just two bananas a day can protect the body from several serious diseases, including stomach ulcers or even stomach cancer.

Dr. Krishna emphasizes that bananas contain natural compounds that strengthen the stomach's protective lining, which acts as a barrier against harmful acids and bacteria.

It is known that one of these bacteria, Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), causes painful ulcers and can lead to stomach cancer over time. However, regular consumption of bananas helps reduce the activity of this bacteria, providing the intestines with a natural defense layer.

Bananas are also rich in flavonoids and antioxidants, which act as precise soldiers within the body. These compounds fight inflammations and prevent oxidative damage, which is a main trigger for many chronic diseases. By neutralizing harmful free radicals, bananas soothe intestinal irritation and maintain the health and strength of internal tissues.

Dr. Krishna explains that bananas stimulate the production of additional mucus in the stomach, which acts as a soft and protective cushion that prevents direct contact of acid with the stomach wall. This specific mechanism is what enables bananas to soothe ulcers and prevent their aggravation.

In addition to protecting the intestines, bananas contain prebiotic fibers that help the beneficial bacteria in the intestines flourish, thus improving digestion and generally strengthening the immune system. The natural sugars in bananas release steady energy without causing a sudden spike in blood sugar, making them the most balanced fruit in the fruit basket.
